The First United Presbyterian Church, Atlantic, Iowa
The purpose of the First United Presbyterian Church of Atlantic, Iowa is to foster multi-generational, energetic membership and joyful Christian worship, education, fellowship, and mission opportunities proclaiming Jesus Christ as our Savior. The First United Presbyterian Church will:

1. Provide a multi-generational ministry that meets the spiritual needs of the youth, young adults and older adults of our congregation.
2. Provide worship services that relate biblical text to the congregation’s life and work in a joy-fill enthusiastic way for all ages.
3. Provide educational experiences and instruction that increases theological and biblical awareness, thus motivating continual spiritual growth.
4. Provide opportunities for congregational members and groups of all ages to come together, know one another, have the opportunity to love and support one another in response to God’s call upon their lives in Christian Fellowship.
5. Challenge our members to demonstrate Christian stewardship of their resources, contribute to, work and support the local, national, and worldwide mission of the Church .
6. To call a Pastor who has the skills and attributes to enable us to accomplish these goals.
